TraffiPole is a new housing for traffic monitoring that enables more sustainability through emission reduction due to its efficient air ventilation that renders an air conditioning superfluous.
It’s modern and functional design was awarded with the prestigious ABC and German Design Award, which honor exceptional responses to technology challenges.

The new climate housing TraffiPole has been developed to satisfy both high demands on design and superior sustainability requirements.
TraffiPole allows for a cost-effective operation and energy-efficient cooling of the built-in electronic components. It perfectly fits into a modern city scape thanks to its modern, award-winning, while highly functional design. The upper oval segment houses the measuring system with camera and sensor, monitoring speed and red light violations. This superior design has been awarded with the internationally prestigious ABC Award 2021 and German Design Award 2022 awarded by the German Design Council.
Suit your individual needs
TraffiPole can be configured with many different options. As a standard, the upper segment contains the traffic monitoring system TraffiStar SR390 recording speed and red light violations. Other functions such as number plate recognition with ANPR camera or emission measurements are available as options.
To ensure self-sufficient operation independent of the main power supply, batteries can be inserted in the lower segment and the design elements on the outside can alternatively be exchanged for solar panels.
In addition, there is a range of different styles for the outside design elements to choose from and they can even be customized according to individual preferences.
Environment-friendly, sustainable solution
TraffiPole‘s oval head design with double walls renders the use of an air conditioning superfluous due to efficient air ventilation system – even in very hot climates.
This specific design allows for a significant reduction in power consumption, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 1.74 t per year. Additionally, TraffiPole has been made entirely of recyclable aluminium and comes in reusable packaging.

The multi-functional TraffiTower 2.0 offers unparalleled flexibility in terms enabling a variety of different applications from the areas of road user charging, civil security and road safety. It’s modern and functional design has received an iF Design Award.
TraffiTower is built to give your measuring system reliable protection against external tampering, damage and vandalism, whilst providing a favorable internal environment for continuous measurement operation. The glass panes are bulletproof and can withstand impacts and gunshots.
TraffiTower complies with the DIN EN 12767 standard so that it meets the most stringent safety requirements for road users in the event of a crash. This certification indicates the passive safety of permanent support structures for road equipment. This means that with TraffiTower the risk of injury is considerably reduced for road users in the case of a collision.
