Variable beam expander 1x-4x full quartz system
The BEX 1x-4x variable beam expanders for the wavelengths 355 nm, 532 nm and 1030...1080 nm provide a high image quality with their compact lengths. All versions are infinitely adjustable between a 1x and 4x expansion factor. The larger the expanded beam, the smaller that structures can be created with the paired F-Theta objective.
A focus ring allows the divergence of laser beams to be changed in a targeted manner, thus compensating for the focal length tolerances in the overall system. This also makes it possible to change the position of the working plane according to the scanning system.

Variable beam expander 1x-4x steadfast
The BEX 1x-4x steadfast beam expanders are characterized by a mechanical design that guides the movable optical elements in a stable, linear manner. This reduces the influence of mechanical manufacturing irregularities and increases beam stability whenever changing magnification and/or divergence. This ensures a beam direction stability of less than one milliradian.
Settings can also be conveniently locked. Therefore, influences such as vibrations or system accelerations system are minimized. In addition, the BEX 1x-4x Steadfast stands for easy maintenance and minimal set-up times.
